when I got out of the cellar
Jan. 7th, 2004 01:29 amThat was one of the weirdest experiences that I've had in 300 years. I somehow ended up in the body of a sick-chick slayer who claimed she came from the past. I never got a chance to get really used to it, though.
I guess there was another mind in my body, and I may never know what happened to it - or how it came to be in the caves under William Tallisker Inn.
That's where I was when I got it back. I didn't know where I was, of course. Those caves are pitch dark, and they smell like somebody kennelled a dog there and fed it raw meat. I didn't like it. The Grant guy found me and took me up into the Inn. They were having a party. Then things got really weird.
I was doing my best "I'm just a helpless child" bit, and people were looking at me funny and kind of drawing away. They acted like they knew I was armed, except that a couple of them showed me that they were wearing crosses.
When the nearest couple saw me, the the woman kind of moved so she was nearer the guy, but between him and me - but then he shifted to shield her. I could hardly believe what happened next!
